What People Are Saying

A comprehensive review was conducted by David Halfpenny from Bicycles Network Australia. Click here to read his article. "We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Zigo!!! My husband has only let me ride it once, he loves it so much :) My son Jules was a bit dubious the first time we popped him in, but after a few minutes loved it and didn't want to get out once we got to the park. He gets so excited whenever he sees us get it out, he thinks he is Lord Muck sitting up the front and watching the world whiz by! To say it has been a hit is a massive understatement. Lots of friends, and strangers even, have been curious about it and keen to take it for a test drive. It's quite a talking point at the park!" "OMG - what a fun bike, I was a bit scared to ride with my Godson in the pod at first but as it is in the front, I was able to keep an eye on him and talk to him whilst he sat back and had a ball. Being a three wheeler it is very sturdy and very safe. The pod detaches easily so you can ride down to the shops and use the pod as a stroller. You can also leave the kids at home and ride to the shops and have somewhere larger than you back pack or basket to put your shopping. It is relatively easy to assemble. I have never assembled anything other than IKEA before, but managed with a little assistance from my hubby. I think this bike is fantastic and just love the comments I have received from other women who would love to get one. Because I don't have kids, I have been using mine to take my Jack Russell shopping and riding with me. I just wish I could use it to ride to work, but as work is a 45 minute drive - that is out of the question. But that is about the only thing I cannot do with it!!!" "My wife and I bought a Zigo about two months ago, and have been using it to tote around nine month old twins. We love this thing. As a stroller, it is remarkably maneuverable, a dream to push around compared with the tandem car seat stroller that we had used previously, and the disc brakes give firm control over stopping. There's room for the twins and a few things in front, a small bag in front that can carry stuff and a pouch in back. Not quite as roomy with storage space as some strollers, but we've been very happy with this. "Attached to the bike, it's also been terrific. As bikebreath notes, it isn't a racing bike or a road bike, but it can make 90 degree turns without much difficulty, turning the bike by lifting the back of the bike and swinging it around isn't especially heavy at all, and I for one feel so much more at ease having the girls in front of me where I can see them at all times. So, it's become essential equipment in our household." "We give the Zigo Leader two thumbs up. The price may seem steep, but it evens out when comparing it to purchasing a stroller, jogger and bike separately." "We are sooooo excited that we finally have a way for the entire family to bike together! Caysen enjoyed the rides and giggled and laughed the entire way!" "It's safe and stable. The Zigo becomes a practical alternative to a second car or just enjoying going for a ride with kids." "[Zigo] is especially safer. [Translated]" "But with the Zigo... I realized many wonderful things while perusing the website:
–blog.carrielogic.org/ "Have you seen these? I saw one for the first time at the park yesterday evening. It is the Zigo Leader, from Zigo of course. A double stroller and bike in one. Is there a better way to navigate a big city with kids in tow....errr, front? Nope. This company is brilliant!" "I am very happy with the purchase and started using it as soon as we got it home! So now, I can safely pick Nora up from school with The Zigo. No more struggling in overcrowded busses full of rowdy school kids with no manners at all!" "We love our Zigo Leader and everywhere we go, we get positive comments about it. We are the talk of the neighborhood..definitely trendsetters." "Zigo decided to create the Mango – a trailer / stroller only. It doesn't work on the front of a bike, but at a very competitive price point consumers have access to a very, very well made bike trailer." "My advice is to visit a Zigo dealer and take a ride to see if it's right for you and your family — I think you'll be impressed." 10 Top Reasons for Mom to own a Zigo Leader in NYC "Since we picked up our Zigo, I've been taking it out pretty much every day to parks and bike trails. It has certainly expanded my area of activities with my kids; we've done a lot of things we were only restricted to do with car on weekends before. My kid's favorite park is the Schuylkill River bike trail, which is about half a mile from my home. I used to take both kids in a stroller and walk to the park. But after playing hard under the sun, it was often quite tiring to get home. Now with my ZIGO Leader, not only does it make the trip easier, I often extend it another mile and half along the river for a quick picnic. I am not a believer in exercising at the gym, but this is the best way to keep fit, too. Tonight, I was even able to attend my friend's gallery opening. We often opt out on going out in the evenings, but thanks to ZIGO, we didn't have to worry about wandering around and looking for parking spot for half an hour. We were able to enjoy a nice adult conversation with friends, it was very refreshing. Thank you Zigo." "It is more popular than any Ferrari, a real headturner!" "I step into Roy's bike shop ready to buy when my eye pop at the greatest invention in biking history! a FRONT trailer, a bike with 3 wheels for added stability, the option to change the bike into a 2 wheeler without the trailer attachment, and the options to turn the trailer into a regular stroller as well as a jogging stroller! My mouth dropped. It looks sleek. Designed so well! So functional! And YESSSS It holds TWO children!!!" "[Zigo Leader] is awesome. I know they have them for the back but then they cant see anything and I CANT SEE THEM! Why didn't anyone think of putting it in the front before now?!?! Maybe I would bike a little more with something like that." "After test-riding the Leader, I had just one question: Why didn't someone think of this sooner?" "Carrier bike "Zigo Leader" is a great idea." "[Zigo Leader] is a sleek, modern rendering of the Dutch Bakfiets with the added benefit of being modular." "It handles nicely — much better than pulling a child trailer." "The Zigo Leader integrated bike/stroller/jogger could be of particular interest to specialty retailers by offering them an exclusive chance to capture revenue streams previously held by three different product classes often sold in the mass market. " "Arguably the coolest transport parents can own with zero carbon footprint." "la Zigo œ la regina dei veicoli a propulsione umana, promotrice anche di uno stile di vita attivo e sano." "Een verrassende oplossing daarvoor is de nieuwe fietskar van Myzigo. Als je graag fietst, is dit beslist een erg goede oplossing!" "So, why pay more for a Zigo when you can just attach a bike trailer/stroller to your current bike? The 'right' solution will vary for everyone, but here are a few reasons to justify the Zigo's high price tag. First, managing a front load is easier and more convenient than towing a trailer. Second, the Zigo is an entire system where each part was designed with the other parts in mind. Third, in buying a Zigo you are also buying a stylish stand-alone bike in addition to a matching and functionally reliable stroller. Finally, financial comparisons between the cost of ownership of a car versus a bike have been done before. With bikes like Zigo's entering the market, adopting a bicycling lifestyle and reaping the benefits is becoming more viable." "Zigo continues to impress parents all over the nation." "[Zigo is] almost like a car, only it takes up less space, burns no fossil fuel, and is much less likely to kill pedestrians." Zigo awarded Pram of the Month |
